The cat playpen folds down easily for storage or traveling, roll and lock casters for easier cleaning, a slide-out composite plastic florr pan and swing open front doors with dual-point door latches for the security of the kitten or cat inside. The cat playpen is roomy enough for large cats or small kittens with abundant areas to play whether it be on the ABS plastic pan or jumping from one of three adjustable wire framed plastic shelves. on 2010-08-07I bought this product for my 9 year old daughter's newly adopted 12 week old kitten. The very 1st night we brought the kitten home we knew that she was going to be a handful, ecspecially at night! I went online and found this product and read all the reviews. I must say that the reviews are the reason I bought this product! We had 3 nights without this playpen and were so excited when it finally arrived!! As the other reviews stated, you really do need more than 1 person to set this up. My 9 and 7 yr olds assisted me. We had it up in no time without any trouble at all. I did use the suggestion of using wire ties to secure the areas that seemed to need to be reinforced. Once we did that, it was very stable! We added a hammock for our kitten and placed her litter box in as well. When we are away she goes in the playpen and at night she goes in too. When we leave the house she has everything she needs while we are away, food, water, toys, comfy place to hang out, and enough room to jump and play too! I know others mentioned the lack of more than 1 cushion, but I must say our kitten likes to use the ones that are not covered just as much as the covered one! Our plan is to use this as a training tool for her so that we will eventually be able to leave her alone in the house and not keep her in the playpen. :)
It collapses easily for storage and portability. We've had this playpen for 1 month and would highly recommed it to anyone looking for a great place to put your kitten while you are unable to supervise them.

on 2010-08-07Very good product - the cats love it. Easy to assemble & folds up for easy storage. Arrival was delayed by typical UPS poor service. Please find another method to ship.

on 2010-07-28For those times when a cat needs to be confined but is still allowed to jump up on things, this cage is excellent. There is enough room for everything but it doesn't take up a lot of space. When not in use, it folds down very compactly. It lasts a long time and is very easy to clean. Midwest has a winner here!

It's a great help to keep kittens safe, good environment for sick or convalescing animals, and the very best solution for elderly cats who may be a bit senile. I have had such good results, I purchased a second unit. There is no better way to monitor health considerations in cats. It is also great (and humane) for cats with behavior problems, both short and long term. HIGHLY recommended!

on 2010-07-06This is being used for display of kittens for adoption. I have tried many different products but this one is lightweight, easy to assemble nad easy to transport. Of course it is easy to clean because the kittens can trash a cage very quickly. The shelving is much easier to adjust than other models. It Is priced so well that I bought 2 on the last order. Highly recommended.
